Sophia Roe × Perelel
A talent campaign with James Beard Award–winning chef Sophia Roe — an editorial portrait shoot that anchored a New York Times print takeover and a People exclusive.
Perelel partnered with chef and maternal-health advocate Sophia Roe to tell a story about prenatal nutrition and maternal equity — with the tagline "For a life-changing recipe, the ingredients matter." I produced the campaign shoot that fed the whole rollout: a warm, editorial portrait session in Sophia's kitchen that had to work as a full-page New York Times print ad, a People exclusive photo feature, and a suite of brand and social assets — all shot in one coordinated production.
The campaign in motion.
Beyond stills and print, the Sophia Roe partnership came to life on camera — a social-first film capturing Sophia at home, in her kitchen, in her own words. Produced alongside the photography in a single coordinated production, then cut for Perelel's social and editorial channels.
